Job Vacancy:
Day Trips & Groups Travel Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and customer focused individual to join our Day Trips and Groups Travel team. This is a varied and dynamic role that will support the continued growth of our Day Trips and Group Travel department.

You will play a key role in supporting and developing our day trips programme, expanding our group travel and package business, and assisting with the delivery and administration of our Manor Adventure contract. As a key point of contact for customers and group organisers, you will play an important role in delivering outstanding service, building strong relationships, and converting enquiries into bookings, contributing to revenue growth.

We are the largest coach operator in Leicestershire, and we have spent our last 30 years of business building an unrivaled experience and a friendly and trustworthy reputation. We have an extensive fleet of executive vehicles which helps us to service our programme of over 500 coach holidays, day trips and short breaks across the UK and Europe. We also operate a wide range of Private Hire jobs for a variety of occasions and provide school transport to thousands of pupils.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the planning, administration, and promotion of the day trips programme
  • Handle customer enquiries via phone, email and in person
  • Assist with bookings, amendments and customer communications
  • Monitor trip performance and identify new opportunities
  • Support the generation and conversion of group travel enquiries
  • Assist in creating tailored group packages including itineraries and pricing
  • Liaise with hotels, attractions and external suppliers
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with group organisers
  • Provide administrative and operation support
  • Liaise effectively with internal departments
  • Ensure all data is accurate, up to date and compliant for bookings
  • Deliver high levels of customer service
  • Promote and sell day trips and group travel packages, identifying opportunities for upselling where appropriate
  • Accurately input and manage bookings on internal systems
  • Produce reports and supporting documentation as required
  • Assist with events, exhibitions and roadshows to support the marketing department

  • Previous experience in a customer service and/or sales role

  • Confident using IT systems and databases
  • Interest in travel and tourism
