Dress to impress and join us for Ladies Day at Royal Ascot, starting with Prosecco and pastries before you depart our Travel Centre in Hugglescote to enjoy a day of glamour, racing, and prestige.
Royal Ascot is undoubetdly the centrepiece event of the racing courses year dating back almost continuously to 1911. Attended each year by the Queen herself as well as many other members of the British Royal Family who arrive each day to a Royal procession in a horse-drawn carriage, it is one of the most important events in the British social calendar too with over 300,00 visiting the event during its week long opening annually.
Traditionally the Wednesday is known to be the more gently-paced occasion when compared to the opening day of the event, with a relaxed atmosphere and emphasis on enjoyment of the spectacle of the day, but without compromising on the unparalleled action of the racing itself and pageantry and high fashion of its attendees.
Choose where wish to spend your time here with a choice of enclosures to suit your own expectations and standards. This trip we offer you the chance to experience the excitement of the day from two of the enclosures - the Windsor, and Queen Annes enclosures.
Windsor enclosure -
Positioned right at the heart of the racing action for the day you will be the first to see the Royal procession as it arrives. With a reputation as the more relaxed and informal environment and dress code this area houses extensive lawns with which to enjoy a picnic and multiple casual dining options take in your surroundings at your own pace while you enjoy the action and spectacle of the day.
Queen Annes enclosure -
The epicentre of Royal Ascot this is the only enclosure available to members of the public granting a view of the Parade Ring. Spending your day amongst the stylish bars and restaurants here on the manicured lawns and raised terraces this enclosure truly gives race-goers a real window into the vibrant high-fashion and high colour magic of the Royal Meeting. Being closer to some of the worlds finest horses and offering uncompromised views of the surroundings, the Queen Annes enclosure is the ideal place to be captivated and embrace the much-loved traditions of the day, chiefly the much-loved singing around the main Bandstand at the end of the day as a perfect sign-off to the experience.
