About Charnwood Forest Geopark:
Geoparks are regions with exceptional geological features, where local communities work in harmony with their cultural and natural heritage to support sustainable economic growth, conservation, and educational initiatives.
In 2020, Charnwood Forest received a £2,767,300 grant from the National Lottery Heritage Fund to raise the profile of this heritage landscape. This grant has made it possible to restore this remarkable area, with the aim of protecting the land and supporting its improvement and development. The five-year scheme has created 18 individual projects, each with different aims and objectives, all working towards a common goal.

In collaboration with the Geopark and its partners, we offer sustainable transport solutions designed to reduce environmental impact. This partnership not only supports the region’s conservation and educational objectives, but also advances our commitment to eco-friendly travel and meaningful community engagement.
